Before the founding hires, the markets built from zero, and the revenue scaled across three continents — there was a recovery room. A coma, and the long, slow work of rebuilding from it.
I'm not sharing this for sympathy. I'm sharing it because those years shaped everything about how I operate. The 15-minute focus intervals. The paper-based tracking. The daily milestones that turned an overwhelming recovery into a manageable sequence of steps.

ISB — GMAT 730, a new commercial identity — was the reset that followed. A deliberate reinvention from engineer to enterprise leader, trading the security of a well-worn path for the uncertainty of a domain I would build from scratch. Three founding hires across three countries came after: ABB in India, Freshworks in the UAE, CareStack in the UK. Each time, stepping into ambiguity without a playbook, using the same framework that governed recovery — break it down, track it, execute it, repeat.
That approach still governs how I build teams, markets, and revenue engines today. Still building — just with better systems, and a stronger leg.
